Fetch Data Real Time based on some PowerBi filter

Hi, I am looking for some way to fetch data real time after applying some PowerBI filters to a slicer by connecting to maybe an Analysis Services or a SQL database data source, so that I can restrict the number of records which needs to be stored in memory at a time. Is there some way I can do that?

Hi , @AneeshBose 

Not very clear .

For Analysis Service,you can try to using live connet.

For Sql Database you can try to use directquery .

Both of them can  enter query(MDX\DAX or SQL) when you first connect to the database to filter your datasource.

If i misunderstood,please explain it for more detail.

Yes, you can use direct query to get the only required data based on slicer selection.
