FORMAT() returns semester Number

hello,

 

I need to return the semester/year from a date. 

 

Thaks for help.

YEAR will return the year. Define semester. How many weeks are in your semester? 15, 18? When does the first semester start? January 1st, some other date?

If you have a date table you can add a Semester column to the table and then use relationships to determine semester from any date.
