FIlter multiple fields

Hopefully, I will explain this right.

I have 3 columns in one table

Account Name, Date, Value

I need to display All Accounts (no filter), All values for a given month (filter Month and Year )

So I if I were to filter on March 2020 say..

Account        MTD Value        Date[Month],Date[Year]       (dates do not appear on the report)

Payroll           2500000            03                 2020

Printing         10000                03                 2020

Legal              0/blank             --                    --                    (no legal for March)

Misc Fees       50000               03                 2020

I need legal (or any account that has zero transactions for the month ) to still appear, as there is YTD column that will include transactions for other months in another visual beside this one and they all need to line up.

I can't use a slicer because I end up with accounts that have no values for those dates disappear from the visualization chart)

Thanks again.

Thanks for that, it helped, pointed me in the right direction. I also tool some fields out of my fact table., moved them into a dimension table and was able to better work with them (account names) by including the above hint.

I have the 'Show Items With No Data' option selected for the account name.  However because there are two columns that are summarized (Sum) value, and a % of total column), that option is not visible for those columns.  If I uncheck summarize, I get the 'Show Items With No Data' option.  However, I still don't get those items once I filter for month and year.

Thanks

Hi @TallKewlOnez ,

Would you please try to use measure instead of summarizing on the column in table visual.

Best Regards,

Dedmon Dai
