Extremely Slow PowerQuery Performance

I am having some extremely slow performance when loading a very small spreadsheet (165 rows). My company reports on this every month and blend it with some other data but when I am simpy preparing table to be appended to previous months performance is dismal. When doing a simple task such as removing the top rows PowerQuery will freeze for 5-10 minutes. This has never happened in the past and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both from the Microsoft store and from online. Has anyone run into issues like this before? Any suggestions? 

My computer has 16gb of ram and a 10th gen i7 processor so that shouldn't be an issue.

You  can use performance analyzer to check what is causing your report performance to be slow.
