Extract list of items in a dashboard including developer chosen names

Hi community,

Coming from the data governance point of view, my organization is trying to register the terms used in dashboards in a central repository together with definitions.

We are looking now for a solution to extract the list of items in a dashboard that are visible to the end user, including for example the columns used in a matrix or the measure used in a visual. It is important that the names are what the end users see and not the column name from the table.

So far PowerBI Helper is the closest I've gotten but it only provides column reference from model and not the name that the developer chose to put in the dashboard itself as alias. Dax Studio has also not helped us.

Does anyone have any suggestions or expierience with similar challenge?

Thank you!

Hi @VoyteQ ,

Maybe you can give an example with something more specific?
