Extract Month and date from DateTime field to get mm/dd

How can we extract MM/DD from date format yyyy/mm/dd in direct query mode.

Hi @rkumar,


You can write a measure to format date value to mm/dd:

Date(MM dd) = FORMAT(MAX(DateVal[Value]),"mm/dd")

how can we use / symbol in a formulae so that output format can look like 11/12.
