Extract Date Cell from Each File to Create Date Column

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to extract the date which resides in a column with a sales quantity. Each month I receive a file that is in the same format with the exception that the date column changes to the most recent year and month. There is an example to the lower left. I need to transform the date into a date column. When I combine the files the first date carries down through the next dates so it looks like I only have 1 month of data. I could do a work around to add the date in the file name and then extract the date into a date column, but that involves me renaming the file each time I import.

I receive the data like the bottom Left and want it to look like bottom right any suggestions?
