Hey everyone, There may be some built in way to do this, but can I create a button that will export a filtered/sliced dataset but with every associated column from the raw data table? I believe that using the "Export Data" feature will only grab the columns used in that particular visual. How can I cleanly do this?
E.g. the backend data contains individual level records, with a column such as "house type," if the user selects house_type_1 in a slicer, and clicks export, the resulting file contains all columns for all individuals where "house type" = house_type_1. Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Based on this document, If you applied filters to the visualization, the exported underlying data will export as filtered. So we can put all the column you want to export into a table visual, then use the export underlying data feature.

There is not.
A couple of things you could do:
Build a visual with all the columns (you can make each column width tiny to keep the visual small) from the data and do your filtered export
Connect to the data through Excel. Bring in all the columns you want into the pivot. When a user filters the pivot it refreshes and grabs the recently refreshed data from the service
