Export with total in the .csv file

Hello everyone,

I would like to know how to export data from a matrix report with the different totals ? When I export the data, the .csv file doesn't contain the total and it's a little bit frustrating because I have to keep these totals.

I use a measure for the value area of the matrix therefore the total represent the result of the formula and not the average of each matrix data point. With the .csv file, it is impossible for my colleagues to find the "correct" totals from the data...

Thanks a lot for your answers and sorry for my english...

Hi @aminima,

You could export data to a "xlsx" file in Power BI Service. But it may not be what you want exactly. Maybe you could submit or vote an idea here: enable-total-row-also-to-be-exported

Unfortunately, that would likely require a pivot table type of export from Power BI and the export is not that sophisticated. I wonder if you could come up with a procedure to create a pivot table from the data that is exported and get there that way?
