Export to excel - hide some unwanted columns

Hi,

I have 10 columns in a table visual (9 key columns + 1 internal reference column) and I want to export the entire table to excel/csv format.

However, I want the excel output to show the 9 key columns only and not to show the 1 internal reference column in the excel sheet.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Thanks.

Best regards,

Emily

@Anonymous What if I don't want to hide my columns from PowerBI model as I am also using that column for other calculation purpose? I only want this column to be hidden in excel only but still available when building the reports.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Unfortunately, I don't know what you think. Is it possible to delete the columns in the table visual when exporting? Or see if this helps:
