I have a report that looks fine in desktop but when published and exported to PDF many pages when printed are cut off on the left side of the page.
I have tried Fit to Page and Fit to Width and same results?
How do I fix this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I figured it out, I had to select Scale - Fit to printable area when I was printing.

I am having the same issue, but the actions stated in this thread do not resolve the issue for me. I believe that Microsoft pushed out an update yesterday so perhaps this is a new bug, b/c I export PBI reports to PDF all the time and have never had issues until today (my first attempt to export to PDF since the update).
In the View ribbon, I change the size to "Fit to Page". Then I "Save" the report, check that the View setting, "Fit to Page" is still selected and it is, and then I File>Export>Export to PDF, it comes out too large for the PDF. When I go back to the Power BI report, I notice that the View setting has gone back to "Actual Size", which I never selected.
I don't know where anyone is seeing the ability to "Print" to pdf, so there are no printing settings that I can find to adjust, and I didn't see anything to change under File>Options and Settings.
