Hello everybody
I am working on a governance model for managing our workspaces etc.
For this I need all tables/ sources from the datamodel with all columns as well as all dax functions.
Is there any chance to extract these information at once?
The sqlbi guys have developed for excel an add in where you can easily extract these information.
Is there something similar for Power BI?
HI @joshua1990,
If you are work with AS tabular datasource, you can use 'connect live' mode to get data with all tables and dax formulas.
Connect to Analysis Services tabular data in Power BI Desktop
For other scenarios, you can try to generate an excel workbook and use import feature to get data with its contents.
Import Excel workbooks into Power BI Desktop
If these not help for your situation, I'd like to suggest you use third-party tools as Mariusz mentioned do data import operations.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
