Hi guys,
I'm trying to find a way to do this, however can't seem to really find a feasible solution. I have pulled data from Salesforce into PowerBi Service and I am able to see the reports, however I want to further customise and model my visuals (for example, I'd like to add toggles between different pages, something that can only be done in the Desktop version). Is there a way to export the dataset exactly the way it's modelled already (in .pbix format)?
Many thanks!
G.

Hi @gpillai
I’m afraid exporting a report of a salesforce content pack from Power BI service to Desktop is not possible now, as Downloading report as a .pbix file is not available for service content packs.
Maybe you could submit an idea here: ideas.powerbi.com
Best Regards
Maggie

Many thanks, Maggie!
It would make life much easier for people who edit in Service and would like to export to Desktop - it's such a simple thing, but I can't think of a reason why it's not being implemented. I voted on an existing idea requesting the same functionality.
Thank you!
