Export Filter Setting in URL or any format

Good day Community

Due to PBI limitations in data table structures, we are faced with the need to export our data into CSV / Excel from our Cloud Backend.

However our clients woudl prefer to interact with the filters in PBI before exporting.

Is it possible for PBI to generate a URL or any format of the 'Filter Settings' (ie. date, sales person and region) so that we can feed it into our Cloud.

Hey @parry2k thanks for your response.

The solution I'm looking for is the opposite of the proposed solution.
Below would be the user journey

- Open PBI report
- Select relevant filters (Area, Sales Person, Region)

- User will click "Generate Report" in the form of a HTML link

- PBI to generate a URL that can be fed to my cloud backend to export the report.

The main challenge currently is to export the filter settings out from PBI.

Hi @Boostorder

Do you mean you'd like to get the generated url with filter applied?

Please kindly refer to the official document:
