Expand & collapse matrix row headers not always showing

I have a report where I can just see the Expand & collapse matrix row headers option:

and another report where it doesn´t show:

Same Desktop version, same options, and both are loading data from queries to a SQL Server database.

So I don´t understand why in some cases I have the option available and others not.

Just had this issue myself and the solution suggested worked.

Seems that if I create a new matrix it appears. So the solution is to create a new matrix.
