I have a Matrix with data values under a standard hierachy date column(s). (see screen capture below).
It's displaying 2017 and 2018 ... under which is months....
I want the Matrix to display 2017 and the months to december, then 2018 and the months to Feb (well what ever is there). I do not want users to have to work through drill down for this.
Can I get the Matrix to do this automatically for me?
Do I need to create my own Year/Month column to do this?

Seems I've got this to work.
Drill down on Columns selected and click the 3rd icon (at the lowest level of data).
