Exclude visual filter from page level filter

Hi all,

i have made a report like this 2020-05-15 17_57_41-Window.png

I have two visual filters on the left (Year and Month), and some page level filters on the right. If i select a Customer, it happens that some months/years disappear from the visual filter. Is there a way to ignore this? I would like to show always all months and years....

I've tried to search for some solutions but didn't find any fine one.

Regards,

Francesco

I found the problem: there was a bi-directional join between the calendar table and one of the fact tables. Now it works good.

Thanks to all.

@FrancescoSCP , ideally they should be coming from different dimensions/tables , this should not happen.

You can use edit interaction to remove interactions between these two

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-reports-visual-interactions

Hi,

of course Years/Month and Customer are from different tables.

I can't edit interaction between a Visual Slicer and a page level filter...it works only between visualization and not filters.

Hi @FrancescoSCP ,

Page level filter > slicer. I think you need to create a silcer for Customer instead.

Jay
