Hi,
is there a way to exclude a certain column from the Grand Totals Section in a Matrix Visual? I know it is not possible out of the box, but is there a workaround? or at least create a custom total section with the ones i want to show
I have a Matrix visualization which displays 4 measures in columns, and if i enable the Grand Totals section for the visual, then it includes all, and i want to exclude a measure not to be calculated automatically as totals.
Well, it occurs to me that you can put or remove totals from the column that you want using field formating.
We choose the column that interests us, put a color that matches the background (for example white) and mark that does not apply in fit and data but if in the total.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can disable the column subtotals and add the measure you want to calculate:

Thanks for your response,
however, I'm using a matrix visual and the measure will be displayed across months, if i add the measure you mentioned above, then it wont show once, it will be replicated across columns, am i correct?
I need this to be shown once at the right hand side of the visual.
Hi @Anonymous,
As far as I know, it cannot be achieved.

I do not remember any such option to select enable disable grand total
