Excel max row limit reached, what to do to continue same structure?

if i use excel file to connect data in power bi what happens if my number of rows is maxed and i need to continue with the same file structure simply continuing the rows entries? For example, i have created some visuals that every month i simply add more data to the bottom of the excel file and update the visuals with refresh. However, now i have reached the bottom of my excel file, therefore, i am unable to siply continue adding to the bottom of the list and refresh, what should i do now to preserve the report visuls and data from full excel file? Any ideas? Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi @natabird3

You can split your excel into multiple files and later append in power query.

works perfect thanks. Does it have a limit on how many times it can be appended?

Hi @natabird3

I don't think there is a limit but if there is it must be quite high as I never reached it.

I would suggest you put all your files into an isolated folder and use the Get Data > Folder option as below.
