Hello,
Earlier we were using Kerberos authentication method to make BW connections in PBI Desktop.
looks like that option is no longer available for NEW BW connections.
I found an article for gateway as below, but is there something specific for PBI Desktop please?
Use Kerberos for single sign-on (SSO) to SAP BW using gx64krb5 - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Thanks!

Hi @meenakp ,
Microsoft also has discontinued its support for use of gx64krb5 in this scenario. Existing connections will continue to work, but you won't be able to create new connections for this scenario starting February 2021. Use CommonCryptoLib instead.
Best Regards,
Liang

Thanks @V-lianl-msft , Looks like Cryptolib will be the path forward for Single Sign on. Workaround is to use user name/password instead.
