I've appended 6 excel tables and one access query as a new table in power query. When working with the data I noticed some very odd dates, so looked back at the appended result, and noticed some dates that were in the year 4014, 2080, 8006. Based on other data in the rows I can tell which table the odd dates came from, and when I look back at the individual tables, there are no odd dates. I'm going to go back through each and if necessary append each step by step, but was wondering if there were any general ideas as to why the dates would be getting changed when the tables were being appended?

Hi @mterry,
I am sure, this is an issue with your date column data type, make sure to convert the column data types to date or datetime before appending. Please let me know, If issues still persist.
Thanks,
Amit
Ok I will go through all the individual tables and see if that helps.
