I posted this earlier but am still looking for a solution or at least some insight. I posted in "issues" as well but am not getting any feedback. Generally, what does this error mean, "Microsoft.PowerBI.ExploreServiceCommon.ContainPIIExceptionoccured"
I get this when creating an R visual on my desktop computer (the same file runs just fine on my laptop and I have triple checked all of the same set-up, data source, etc.) The code starts off and "chugs" for a while and then gives this error. Where else can I find some help on this? I'm working with about 100 business students who are not getting a very good impression of this software package because we cannot troubleshoot this issue.

HI @Maureen ,
According to your error message, it seems like a PII(personally identifiable information) Exception.
Any specific policy or security settings enabled on your device? Can you confirm your account has enough permissions to execute this r script?
I'd like to suggest you test on a device that contains enough permission and not has additional security settings to confirm if this issue is more related to permissions and security.
BTW, you can also add error handling(try catch) to export detail error message to help us clarify this scenario.
Using R — Basic error Handing with tryCatch()

Xiaoxin Sheng
