Hi @v-jiascu-msft

Thanks for the reply.

I've figured out where I went wrong. I was updating my dataset and at the same time was trying to connect to it from Power BI Desktop.

I confirm that I was able to successfully create a repot using the uploaded dataset.

Just an additional info.

After clicking OK the dialogue box, PBI desktop will hang.

I am having this same issue. The dashboard I am working on is a pre-created dashboard.

I am currently at the portion where PBI Desktop is hung. How did you resolve this issue?

@danextian

Hi,

It seems that we have to do some trouble shooting.

1. Upgrade PBI Desktop to the latest version. (2.46.4732.721 64-bit (May 2017));

2. Please go to Internet explorer->settings->Internet options->connections->LAN settings and see if “Use automatic configuration script” is checked.

3. If “Use automatic configuration script” is checked, can you uncheck it and check “Use a proxy server for your LAN” and type in the proxy name?

4. You can also try to launch fiddler(just keep it running) and then get data from Power BI Service.

Best Regards!
