Error when changing table to dual storage mode

Hello everyone,

when I try to change one of my tables to "dual" storage mode I receive the following error:

I have absolutely no idea why I can't change it. Both tables timeseries and timestamps are normal tables in the sql server and don't depend on each other in power query.

Do you have any ideas?

Thank you and best regards

Are these two tables currently in Direct Query mode? I think you can only go from "Direct Query" to Dual mode.

@d_gosbell Yes, they are in Direct Query mode and I want to change them to Dual Mode.

@v-frfei-msft I didn't really understand what you mean. I try to change the storage mode du Dual Mode. When I change it I receive the error message from my first post. Can you maybe explain a little differently?

Hmm, then I'm not sure what could be causing this. Power BI Desktop does not let you change the DataView propery for the partition and I just double checked on a test DQ model that I have and I could convert all my DQ tables to dual without any issues. You might need to raise a support ticket https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
