I am trying to share a Power BI dataset with a colleague. If I grant my colleague admin access to the workspace, she can see the dataset and create a report from it in Power BI Service.
However, if she tries to connect to the Power BI Dataset from Power BI Desktop she gets this error:
The DirectQuery for PBI datasets and AS is checked in options:
I also tried to grant her 'Build' rights for the data set,as I would rather do that than make her an admin. However, doing this, she can't see the dataset in in either Service og Desktop,
Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround?
