Error connecting Google Analytics and Power Bi

When I try to connect my Google analytics account to Microsoft Power BI I get an error. (See the screenshot below). I already tried to change the permissions in my Internet Explorer browser, but that didn't work.

Furthermore, connecting Facebook works, but when I try to connect MailChimp, it also gives the same error, with a different URL.

Does anyone know the solution to this error? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Martin-BI ,

According to your snapshot, it seems like some of redirection requests has been blocked or send/receive failed. I'd like to suggest you to contact your IT to check your network status and firewall rule/policy.

Hi @Martin-BI were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supemetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the GA connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your GA account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your GA fields:

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
