Enable parallel loading for Access file on network share

Hi,

Based on this solved issue the 'file already in use' error when refreshing from an Access DB can be 'fixed' by disabling the parallel loading option in the settings.

As this significantly slows loading times and this option is enabled by default (meaning it has to be disabled for each individual power bi file), this causes some inconvenience. Is there a more permanent solution in the works for this issue?

Kind regards,

@geli,

As far as I know, you may retain only one query in Query Editor if possible.

I don't understand your reply. This issue is not regarding the Query Editor, but rather when loading/refreshing an existing power bi file with Access as a data source, it is not possible to do so with parallel loading enabled (if the file is on the network share).
