Enable column total for a non summarized column.

Hi all.

I have a column which shows values in a non summarized format.
The column is displaying values as average.
I want to enable the total for this particular column.
for that I created a measure as;
Total=Calculate(sumx(rbr,averagex(rbr,rbr[column]))

Can someone suggest me a DAX to enable total.

Thanks,
Preeti

Hi @Preeti_Yadav ,

You can create another new measure as below base on the measure with average calculation(Suppose the measure is named car_weight), later check whether it can get your expected result...

Measure = SUMX ( VALUES ( 'rbr'[jobid] ), [car_weight] )

If the above one doesn't work, please provide some sample data from rbr table with Text format and your expected result with calculation logic and special example screenshots. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file with me. You can refer the following thread to upload your file in the community. Thank you.

Hi @Preeti_Yadav
Try

Total =
SUMX ( rbr, CALCULATE ( AVERAGEX ( rbr, rbr[column] ) ) )

I think you can just replace the column in your table visual with the measure you have created.

@Preeti_Yadav , You need to have a group by to have sum of avg

Calculate(sumx(rbr,calculate(averagex(rbr,rbr[column])))

Calculate(sumx(values(rbr[Column]) ,calculate(averagex(rbr,rbr[column])))

Hi @tamerj1 @amitchandak .

I already tried those measures ut to no avail.
That gave me an output like below;

Preeti_Yadav_0-1648553418275.png

i.e. my row value got chnaged.
I want my row values to be seen as Average and total in Sum.
Can you suggest me some other logic?

In the report visual, what are you slicing by?

by jobid.
