I Have two tables
1. Employee Matrix - hold EVERYONES name and Employee ID
2. Project Table - holds projects with the employee ID only
I've created the relationship between the Employee ID already. When I go to create a visual, I drag the employe name from the matrix and pull data from the project table, it displays ALL employees and not only team members that completed projects.
If I select employee ID, the ID will only display and I'm trying to have the Name dispaly on the visual. How can I get this on visual?
If your tables are small, say less than 1m rows, just turn on cross filtering to both directions. Do this in the relationship view, double click on the relationship and change it there
Hi,
Write a measure such as =COUNTROWS(Project) and drag it to your visual.
I have a measure, dragged into visual which is turn around time, but dragging to the axis either the employee ID or the employee name from both tables are not display Only peole that are in the project. @Ashish_Mathur
Hi,
There is some problem with the relationship. Share the link from where i can download the PBI file.
Hello please see link below. Thanks!
This link doesn't help. You are having a data modelling issue. To help you with the issue you need to share the datamodel, and this is only visible in the PBIX file.
How can I attach a pbix file on here?
Disregard, I found a work around. Thank you for your help.
Hi @jcastr02 ,
Can you tell us your workaround? In case other people encounter the same problem.
Best Regards,
Icey
