Edit or insert text in PBI report

Hi everyone,

Sorry if I'll be super basic, but I want to be clear and also I'm quite new to Power BI.

I've made a report/dashboard which contains the specifications of different tipes of spare parts that can be filtered through slicers and funnels. In the middle of the dashboard there's a matrix/table showing the detail (such as code, description and stock) of the different spare parts that reflect the chosen filters. Obviously each line of the matrix shows the specifications of a unique spare part. I would like to be able to allow the future user of the dashboard to add a comment or edit a specific cell of that line of the matrix, to indicate if that particular spare part could be sold or not (so maybe a "YES" or "NO" in an empty cell).

Is there a simple way to do it? Before posting this message I've looked on internet and I found POWER APP, but it seems hard to implement and also more elaborated than I thought this task could be 😅

And also I would not like the final user to do it by editing in the "data" section of the PWBI.

Thank you in advance,

Mattia

Hi @Tia_Mat,

Could you provide sample data and expected output after removing sensitive data?
Sample data and expected output would help tremendously.

Thank you @negi007,

the solution offered by PrimaConsulting (the first link you provided) is exactly what I would like to obtain. But I would like to make it by myself and I guess PowerApp is the only solution (as stated in the second link).
