I am trying to display census tract level information. I signed up for ARCGIS Plus but I see no way of identifying my census tract ID as a U.S. census tract in Power BI. It is not one of the geographical assignments available. I also don't see any of the advanced features supposedly available to me for signing up for a PLUS subscription. I click on the focus/edit icon and there is nothing available from ESRI to customize my map visual.
What I am trying to do is very, very basic which is display simple population demographics by census tract shapes. I can use the shape files from the U.S. census but I don't see how to do that as well. I have a census tract ID that mirrors what is provided by the U.S. Census.
Please, please Microsoft provide some decent out of the box shape file capability in Power BI.

I was able to edit the ArcGIS map and display census tract data. Unfortunately this is still not ultimately a solution because ArcGIS is not supported in embedded.
hi, @DQuigg
After my research, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now.
For your requirement, you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner.

Lin
