Hi,
Does someone know how to connect Oracle EPBCS directly to BI tools, such as Qlik or PowerBI?
Or what is the IP/port of the XMLA service for EPBCS?
Sometimes there are alternatives. For example, Qlik can support many connectivity protocols such as ODBC/REST/HTTP/SOAP/.NET etc… but it really depends on what EPBCS provides for access.
Thanks in advance

Hi @iamsaanvi,
You need to research by yourself or contact the Oracle support to find if the Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service provides REST api to access its data. Then you can call REST api use the web data source in the Power BI desktop. You can see this example about call REST api.
As currently the Power BI desktop doesn't provide the OOTB connector to get data from Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, you can also try to custom your own connector follow this blog.

Hi @iamsaanvi, if you can't get the EPBCS connection to work you could look at planning solutions particularly designed for Power BI like www.acterys.com

Hi,
Since this is a post from 2016, I wonder if there was any change in Power BI desktop providing the OOTB connector to get data from Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service.
If not, I would appreciate if anyone can articulate my options to connect to PBCS.
Thanks!
