Dynamically turn off visualization

Hi all,

Is there a way to dynamically turn off a visualization?  My main objective is to hide/disable a slicer when the report page is drilled through on the same field from another page.  The slicer still displays "all" even when a drillthrough filter is applied, and I want to hide this so it does not mislead users. Open to other creative ideas as well 🙂

@Anonymous

Do you have the slicer attribute added to drillthrough and have the option "Keep all filters" enabled?

Even if you have the selection option "Select all" enabled, you would only see the filtered value and select all option.

Slicer before drillthrough.

Slicer after drillthrough

If this helps, mark it as a solution.

Kudos are nice too.

Thanks @VasTg Yes slicer attribute is added to the drillthrough and "keep all filters" is enabled.  I should have mentioned that I am using "dropdown" slicers rather than "list."  I considered opening them up to list - and maybe will have to - but we have so many slicers that it would create a really messy appearance so I am trying to avoid this option for now.

I get what you are saying. It has to be a List. But you could enable search option(click more option->Search) if the slicer attribute type is text.

Ok thank you @VasTg.  Not my preferred solution but perhaps the only one there is right now!
