Hi Everyone ,
I have a requirement as follows :
I have 3 columns containing names .
Column A Column B Column C
Name 1 Name 2 Name 3
Name 2 Name 1 Name 3
Name 3 Name 2 Name 1
Now I need to create a report page , which has a slicer and a table visual.
The slicer should contain all the names from Column A , B & C.
Eg : If Name 1 is selected in the slicer, in the table where ever Name 1 appears ( in all 3 columns) , the cell should get highlighted with a colour.
Is this possible to achieve..
Would appreciate any help ...
Thanks in Advance ..

@truptis Thanks thanks ... I got it 🙂
One last question ... Can we achieve the same if we use a Text Filter (Search) instead of the Slicer ?
Thanks
SS
@SW_Srinivas , you have got a search option within the slicer. You can use that.
Click on the slicer-> click on the 3 dots-> search
This will give you a search bar on the slicer.

Hi @truptis ,
Thank you so much for the super fast reply ... Yes it does help the part of my requirement which needs the cell to be highlighted.
In addition , I was thinking of combining values from the 3 columns into 1 to put into the slicer. But how do I , on the filter selection, search through the 3 different columns and highlight values in each column where the selected value appears..
Thanks,
SS
