## Dynamically Limit Cumulative values

Hai All the first image is showing the actual number and the right is showing cumulative.
Actually, Only data is present up to 2022 May but when I am calculating cumulative it is giving the output as based on the calendar table, so how can I restrict this dynamically
For eg if I have data in 2022 June in the cumulative table should show cumulative up to June 2022

Hi, @AlanP514,

write your measure something like this:

``````cumSum =
VAR _month =
CALCULATE ( SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Start of month] ) )
VAR _result =
CALCULATE (
SUM ( 'Table'[sales] ),
FILTER ( ALL ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[Start of month] <= _month )
)
VAR _sum =
SUM ( 'Table'[sales] )
RETURN
IF ( _sum > 0, _result, BLANK () )``````
Sturla
