Dynamically Column selection in Matrix visual

Test.png

Hi Team,

I need to show multiple selection of columns so that accordingly to selection we can show the picked up columns in matrix visual. [Screenshot above]

Need your absolute help on how to or any other workaround please.

Thanks.

Re: Dynamically Column selection in Matrix visual

Try unpivoting the data into one column and then using the column in the slicer and under the column section in the matrix.

Re: Dynamically Column selection in Matrix visual

I'm using FACT table where Data Volume is too huge [approx 10-12 million rows depending on Transactions] to unPivot the data. Hence there will be performance bottleneck to do the unpivoting.

@sam_ach  Did you tried pushing your UNPIVOT logic to database side, if you are having performance bottleneck at PBI side ?
