Dynamically Change Date Hierarchy in Grid

I have a grid where I made it so a user can select what measure they want to see in the grid using a toggle switch.  However, i ran into a small hiccup.  The 2 measures use different date hierarchies in their uses.  So one goes to month the other to week.  If you select the week hierarchy measure drill down into a week and then click on the other measure it causes visualization problems (looks ugly).

Is there anyway to dynamically change the date hierarchies in a grid (Trend)?
