Hi Experts,
I have Date Dimension with attributes DateID,Date,Month,Quarter,Year.
Fact table: DateID,SalesValue.
My report has 4 slicers: Year. Quarter, Month, Day.
I want to plot bar graph for SalesValue Vs Dynamically changing Date attributes(Year. Quarter, Month, Day).
For ex: When I select 2017 from Year slicer my bar graph on x-axis should show up 4 Quarters for 2017 Vs SalesValue.
Similarly, When I select Quarter the x-axis should dynamically switch to months of those quarter.
Any help or workaround would be appreciated.
Thanks

This post uses Year,Quarter as a axis value in one slicer. This does not solve my purpose.
My need is to have quarter on x-axis when I select year. If I select Quarter, I want the respective months on x-axis changing dynamically.
Thanks
Hi @mwadhwani,
I'm afraid this cannot be achieved. In my opinion, there is no need to create four separate slicers, the easier way is to add the date (yyyy/mm/dd) column into HierarchySlicer. When you select a Year value (e.g. 2017) from slicer, the chart will show relative data n Year level, but you can drill down to Quarter level via clicking the second drilldown icon on the top left of chart visual, so that 'bar graph on x-axis should show up 4 Quarters for 2017 Vs SalesValue'.
