Project | Project Number | Date | Rank |
A | 101 | 1/1/2021 | 4 |
A | 101 | 2/1/2021 | 3 |
A | 101 | 3/1/2021 | 2 |
A | 101 | 4/1/2021 | 1 |
B | 102 | 3/1/2021 | 3 |
B | 102 | 4/1/2021 | 2 |
B | 102 | 8/1/2021 | 1 |
If I select Jan,Mar,Apr in slicer. data will show this way

Hi @username,
Create two measures.
date__ = SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Date])
rank_m = RANKX(FILTER(ALLSELECTED('Table'),'Table'[Project ]=SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Project ])),[date__])
Put date into slicer.
Best Regards
