Dynamic TopN OTHERS

Hello,

I have a dataset with four columns : Country, Year, Amount, Region. I created a bar chart ( the amount by country) and two slicers: one with the the year ( 2018 and 2019) and another according with the region (EU and latam).

I would to create a TOP 10 bar chart and put all others bars in another category called "OTHERS". The problem is that I dont know how to do that dynamically ( I succeded statically 😞 The bar chart has to display all the time the top 10 and the other category related with what I chose with the slicers.

can someone help me with this?

Thank you !!

Hi @Anonymous ,

I don't think you can do it in a bar chart because Measures can't be added to Axis.

Best Regards,

Hi @Anonymous

try to create a measure

Measure =
var r= RANKX('Table1';SUM('Table1'[Amount]))
return
if(r<11;SELECTEDVALUE('Table1'[Country]);"Others")

then place it to the bar chart instead of Country
