Dynamic Slicer

Dear Power Users,

Please consider the dashboard below:

I would like to add a mechanism on the Comparision Period Slicer. The comparision Period Slicer will have 2 values: SPLY and Budget. When the user clicks on SPLY, the view will be as on the dashboard above. When he chooses Budget, the view will be the same except that the comparision column in the table will be replaced by the budget column. Is this possible? If yes, how so?

Please help.

Hi, @sufiyanakhtar ;

Flag measures can be implemented using IF functions, but the values can change dynamically; But the column name is fixed because it is always a field changed by the slicer. If you can, you can share a simple file for a better solution.

Dear Power Users,

I have a case wherby I need to create slicers as shown below:

I currently have a date table which is standard.

I have no fields for Duration, Comparision (I need the data to be reflected based on what the user selects here) period anywhere in my dataset. How can i do this???

@sufiyanakhtar ,

No, it is not possible without duration fields(date fields from my understanding) in your dataset.
