Hi,
I have Name, Country, Sales column and data for two quarters. The second quarter actually contain addition from the first column.
So i created a measure to calculate Second quarter - first quarter.
Since measure cannot be used as a slicer, i created a whatifparameter and referred the measure value.
The problem comes that the whatifparameter series i created , i used a value from -20,000,000 to 200,000,000 and gave an interval of 10,000. I created the range in the generateseries after looking at the minimum and maximum values myself which doesn't seem to be a good solution.
Is there any way to somehow generateseries which takes in min and max values of the measure because right now it asks for value of column and not a measure.
Any help will be appreciated.
@Anonymous create a new measure to filter the slicer in the range and then use it as a visual level filter:
Filter Whatif =
VAR __maxValue = MAX ( WhatIf[Column] )
RETURN
IF ( __maxValue >= [Min Measure Value] && __maxValue <= [Max Measure Value], 1, 0 )
Use this Filter WhatIf measure as a visual level filter where value = 1 and now your selection will be within the range of minimum and maximum measure value.

How do i get the minimum and maximum value from a measure since Min & Max works with column and not measure?
