Dynamic Parameter

I have the following tables:

powerbiguy__0-1618239412745.png

powerbiguy__1-1618239451136.png

What I wanted to achieve is that, the user will search for a consumer's name in a slicer (which I already done) as soon as the user selected a name, a list of year will be displayed. The list of year will depend on the entries in the table, for example Cosnumer 1: in the list of year, 2020 and 2021 will be displayed. Consumer 2: will only display 2021. When the user select a year, all of his/her consumption will be displayed for that year only. Can it be done by not prompting any parameter/s, the user will just search from the slicer and select from the list which is dynamically generated according to the consumer's record?

Thank you in advance!

Well just link the 2 tables and all is good to go.

Creating relationship between tables is part of modeling in Power Bi.

Hi @powerbiguy_

Why would you need Dynamic paramters for this! you can simply get SEARCH visual from the market to use it for search by name consumer and add a slicer for the year to your report

The year part is my problem, It will display all of the consumption in a graph and will just highlight the consumption for that year.

@powerbiguy_

You sound like talking about interactions between Graphs, aren't you? if so try to edit interactions.

What I expected to see is that everytime the user will select a consumer, the list of year will be displayed according to the consumption records (example if the record for that consumer starts in 2018 up to the present year then 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 will only be shown and lastly graph will only show the consumption for the particular year that the user selected.

Ok , I got the file.

First there is not relationship between tables. is the Id and ConcessionaresId are the same IDs?

where is the problem?
