Dynamic Maximum Value in a Gauge Chart

Hi All

I'm trying to create a Gauge chart with a dynamic Maximum value based on a Date slicer.

1. I have a simple weekly budget sales table like the below.

2. Then a date slicer as per below

3. I need the maximum value of the gauge chart to reflect the sum of the weekly sales budget that fall into the date range specified by the date slicer. I've tried different measures and it always gives me the sum of all the weekly budgets, it doesn't factor in the date range specified by the slicer.

Your help is much appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi @IB-Dee

Agreed with @simrantuli , if date table and your main table has a proper relationship, then the maximu value of the gauge chart would change as expected.

If the problem is still here, please let us know your data structure and relationships among tables, measures created before.

Best Regards

Maggie

Hi @IB-Dee,

Is there any relationship between the table containing 'Date' column that you have used in the slicer and Weekly Budget Sales table?

Looks like either a relationship doesn't exist or it is not defined properly.

Best Regards

@IB-Dee , Try like

lastnonblankvalue(table[week-end],max(table[Weekly sales Budget]))
