I have created a measures slicer which toggles my visuals between the following selections - volume, spend, and weight. What I am trying to attempt is to have the formatting change based on the selection. For example, if I toggle to spend I would want it to show as a currency $, if volume I would want it to show a whole number without decimals with a comma, and weight would show as a number to two decimal places with commas.
This is my measure selection filter
This is one of the visuals. You can see here that volume is selected, but with the two decimal places it makes it more difficult to digest.
Hi @kinga,
I agree with @tjd and @Vvelarde that it is not possible to dynamically change the measure format directly in your scenario. And one possible solution is to create three measures and show each in a separate Matrix, then use the new released feature(Bookmarking, Selection pane and visual display controls, Bookmark links for shapes and images) to show each matrix accordingly at one time. For more details about these new features you can refer to the this article.

Hi, is not a straight solution but you can try using Bookmarks , Links to Bookmarks (In image /Shape) and Selection Pane to show the differents scenarios.

If your Measure Slicer results in one common value measure say, SelectedMeasure, that is displayed as the table/matrix measure, I don't see how you're going to be able to change its formatting dynamically.
