Dynamic Drilldown Visual bookmarks based on RLS

I have a bar chart visual in a report with multiple drill down layers. From top to bottom:
Vertical
Team
Location
User

We are developing Row level Security groups so that users can only see their own data, managers can see their teams data, and Executives can see everything.

The problem that I’m running into is that my basic users want the drill down to start at the user level when opening the report but my executives want it to open at the top layer.

How can I dynamically set the starting layer of my drill down based on the user who is viewing the report?

Re: Dynamic Drilldown Visual bookmarks based on RLS

Hi @CoryMBush ,

Sorry for that, based on my research, it is not supported to control the dilldown level of visuals by RLS when the report opened, we  also did not find an effective solution to achieve your requirement, We can only use two reports saved on different dill down level as a workaround (after create and publish it into service, make a copy of report and change the drill down level) Or use the bookmarks to save the drill down level.

Best regards,
