Duplicate values on the table

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create a reasource heatmap. I am pulling in data from the Project Web App. I have a task table that shows the hours worked on each task and project name. I tried to merge the resource table to associate it with the tasks. I have multiple resourceses assigned for some tasks. 

When I merge the two tables, I can see that the tasks have been duplicated. Even the tasks that have just one resource assigned it just keeps repreating itself. I can't figure out where I could be going wrong.

You have to create a common resource and task table and use it. Please share more details to help further.
