I have a dropdown that uses a column that is a Whole Number data type. I cannot add a search option. I tried changing the data type to Text but that breaks sorting - value 9XXX show as high values then 1XXXX values when sorting is set to descending, which ruins the sorting on a table on my dashboard.
I need this to be a dropdown because my end user may select multiple values which may be thousands of values apart, and I can't have them scrolling through 1000 values to get to that next item they are looking up.
Is there another way to do with without changing the data type?

Hi @MDiPo6186 ,
Try the Tile Seach slicer that has a built in search feature or the Hierarchical Filter - xViz
Another option is to add a column wiht same values but converted to text, sort it by the other column that has numbers and use it on the slicer.
