Drill through not working in published dashboard

I have a dashboard, which has a bar chart on it. It has multiple Axis value, allowing a drill-through to be achieved.

In Power BI desktop, I have drilled-down in the visual to where I want it, selected 'keep all filters' in the drill-through panel of the 'Visualisations' window, and published it. However, when I visit the dashboard online, the drill-through doesn't show.

Am I doing something wrong? Happy to send someone the file if they need to look through.

Thanks

Shaun

Hi @shaunguyver ,

The drillthrough function could not support in dashboard, it just could be used in report and based on my test, it could work in service:

Thanks for the reply. So does that mean when I publish my dashboard to the web, it is impossible for the drill-down to work when someone visits the published dashboard online?

Hi @shaunguyver ,

I could not figure out what you mean of publishing  your dashboard, could you mean publish to web?

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-publish-to-web

This function could publish is the report not the dashboard, you could refer to below link about dashboard and report:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-dashboards

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-report-view

And based on my test, the drillthrough funcition could work on published web:

https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiMGUyYTU3NWYtZTE3My00NmY1LWFmYjMtNmIzMTE2ZWYyM2M3IiwidCI6IjllN...

Could you please offer more information about your operation?
