HI All
I am new to BI so hope this is not a stupid question. I have a simple table with passenger numbers by day (date field with data type = date). When i create a visual of these numbers by date, the visual has automatic drill through to summarise the data by year, quarter etc. However, when i create a link between this table and another table (with dates only) the automatoc drill through disappears, Any idea why?
Next question...
I have created the following measure to compare this years figures to last years figures but the measure always returns this years figures, any idea on what i am doing wrong please?
Airport Previous Year =
VAR LastDaySelection = max('Weekly Capacity Stats'[Date])
VAR FirstDaySelection = min('Weekly Capacity Stats'[Date])
Return
CALCULATE(
SUM('Weekly Capacity Stats'[Airport Entries]),
'Weekly Capacity Stats'[Date] >= date(year(FirstDaySelection)-1,month(FirstDaySelection),day(FirstDaySelection)),
'Weekly Capacity Stats'[Date] <= LastDaySelection
)
